Don Sheldon – Romeo

Don Sheldon graduated from Oberlin College in 2010 with a degree in Theater. Favorite roles have included Larry Foreman in Cradle Will Rock, Leo in 4,000 Miles, and Robert in Betrayal. He recently moved to New York from sunny Chicago.

Eve Palmer – Juliet

Eve Palmer is a Michigan-born Rutgers graduate whose favorite roles include Rosalind (As You Like It) and Brody (P.E. 2012). She’d like to thank her family for all their support, as without it she would surely be sad, homeless, and much, much dirtier.

Mara Gannon – Lady Capulet

Mara Gannon is psyched to be on board with Mercury Glass Theatre. Lizzie Roberts – Lady Montague

Elizabeth Roberts is a recent graduate of Oberlin College. She has been working with Shakespeare & Company for the past six months, training in classical text, Linklater, clown, stage fight, and dance. She’s currently a member of The Ume Group’s physical theater training ensemble, learning a wide range of physical disciplines ranging from butoh to gymnastics. Recent shows include Julius Caesar at the Shakespeare & Company Conservatory, The Laramie Project, God of Carnage, An Oak Tree, Phaedra’s Love, and Love’s Labour’s Lost at Oberlin College.

Sarai Heria – Nurse

Sarai Olivia Heria was born and raised in Miami, FL., Sarai received her BFA in performance from Florida International University. She was most recently seen as Charlotta Ivanovna in The Cherry Orchard at the Arclight Theatre. Previous credits include Viola in Twelfth Night, Lulu in The Ruby Sunrise, Madame Arcati inBlithe Spirit, and Anne Sexton in her one-woman show Letters to My Daughter.

Elliott Brichford – Mercutio

Elliott Brichford is a graduate of Denison University and is pleased to be performing with such a wonderful cast. He most recently appeared as Justice Shallow in the Baited Bear Player’s Merry Wives of Windsor. His favorite Shakespearean roles to date include Malcolm in Macbeth, Ariel in The Tempest, and Roderigo in Othello. He is currently teaching English to international students at the Manhattan campus of Zoni Language Centers.

Adam Zivkovic – Tybalt

Adam Zivkovic is from NYC and attended Princeton University. He has studied acting at Princeton, Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, American Globe Theater and Stella Adler Studio, and danced with diSiac dance company, De Funes Dance, Ensemble Dance and Ballet Lou. Nate Krasner – Benvolio

Nathan Krasner is a Philadelphia-born actor new to New York. Nathan’s credits include Merry Wives of Windsor (Sir Hugh) with the Baited Bear Players; Far From Heaven (ensemble), Let’s Tap (Jonah), and New Year’s Eve (Bruce) all at the Williamstown Theater Festival; as well as Spring Awakening (Melchior) at the Oval House Theater (London). Some other credits include the Zoo Story (Jerry), the Trojan Women (Menelaus), and a self-written, one-man show, Skaida, Skaidis… Nate is thrilled to be working with Mercury Glass on their inaugural production and cannot wait to see where these two-hour’s-traffic will take us.

Jack Shalom – Benvolio

Jack Shalom is happy to be part of the launch the Mercury Glass Theatre Company. He has appeared with the Dream Theatre Improvisational Company at St. Clement’s playing at men and women’s homeless shelters throughout New York City. Favorite roles include the title role in Lorraine Hansberry’s The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Window. He studied acting with Lloyd Richards and Roberta Sklar. He was a part of the O’Neill Theatre Center’s National Playwright’s Conference, is a published theatre historian, and a sometime sleight-of-hand artist.

Kasidy Devlin – Prince

Kasidy Devlin was most recently seen in the National Tour of Monty Python’s SPAMalot, playing Sir Robin for the shows final 355 performances. This summer he performed As You Like It in Shakespeare’s birthplace of Stratford-upon-Avon. His training reflects a broad diversity is styles and approaches: commedia dell arte in Orvieto, Italy; in Shakespeare with Patsy Rodenburg; and in Ensemble-based theatre at the Dell Arte’ International School of Physical Theatre. When not performing, Kasidy raises his two children.

Jack Plowe – Capulet

Jack Plowe is a recent graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, and is excited to be in his first professional show (this one). He has studied Shakespeare both here in the states and during his year abroad in London at the British American Drama Academy, and loved every minute of it. He hopes that this production is the beginning of a long career in theater.

David Kubicka – Friar Laurence

David Kubicka was born in Madison, Wisconsin, David went to the University of Colorado at Boulder where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, was two-time recipient of the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance (NCIIA) grant, and founded the University of Colorado Snowboarding Team. Post graduation, he traveled the country competing on the snowboarding pro circuit. He is a graduate of the Stella Adler Conservatory in New York, and has also trained in improv at Upright Citizen’s Brigade. Recent theatre credits include Ford in The Merry Wives of Windsor with the Baited Bear Players. Film and TV work includes the starring role in Savage Haus’s “Carolina Drama” (short), as well as appearing in Martin Scorsese’s “The Wolf of Wall Street” and HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire”. He can be viewed flying through the air on his snowboard for a BMW commercial during the 2014 Winter Olympic Games. He is proud to be joining Mercury Glass Theatre in their inaugural season.

Jeff Hathcoat – Sampson

Jeff Hathcoat – Graduate from Boston University’s School of Theatre and currently residing in Astoria. He is very excited to be working with so many familiar faces and Mercury Glass! Many thanks to the cast and crew and looking forward to future productions with this awesome group. Recent credits: Merry Wives of Windsor (Nym),Peggy Pregnant Skates (Priest), Paul and Andy (Paul), A Light Lunch (Gary).

Jon Rentler – Gregory

Jonathan Rentler is thrilled to be working again with Philip Waller. He is currently studying at Maggie Flanigan’s Studio and has recurring roles on the webseries: No Shade, Our World and Zoetropya.

Josh Krebs – Balthazar

Josh Krebs has soared on the wings of eagles and is a master of counting but is incompetent in algebra. You might be aware that he has never finished fourth grade but has excelled to prominence while writing speeches for Howard Dean presidential run. He is very ecstatic to be working with Phil and Laura again since their run of “Stranger Odds for the recent Fresh Fruit Festival. He thanks you for coming to see the show and supporting up and coming theater. If you see him after the show say the word “Mumford” and he will give you a hug.
